There is no reason for Clawson to be so stubborn about Mitch. Many starters have been benched and end up returning to solid play. Giving Kern a chance does not forever banish Mitch. One thing he may need to get better is relieve a little pressure. I even recall teams rotating QBs (quarterly) early in the season until one clearly separates himself in live game situations.
 
I also don’t think it helped an already bad offense that even I could tell the snap count from the couch.

We had a really terrific showing from the D. And we ran an offense that resembled a high school team. But by God we didn't turn it over six times and we kept it close. Maybe cam and les can lecture us about how great Mitch looks in practice some more this week. Cause Lord knows it's not shown in the games. There's your summary
 
Clawson said something on the radio show about Michael Kern being the guy you want your daughter to end up with.

If Kern were truly a baller he would have banged Clawson's daughter that week.
