Chat Thread: I worked out with a dumbell yesterday, I feel vigorous

please. My time will be terrible...50/50 chance i pass out doing the first 10 burpees.
I've never actually timed myself doing it But it's a "fun" workout
and the people at the gym look at you like your an animal.... helps that i wear a short sleeve Project Rock hoodie. absolutely unleashing the inner d-bag
Your first mistake is wearing a shirt.

And then I'd likely pin myself under 185 pounds at bench rep 5 or 6 of round 2.
 
Interestingly it is in thinking about the sympathetic nervous system that I start to really break down.

It's crazy how heavy even 135 gets after 2 or 3 rapid rounds of 10 in a Crossfit style workout. Windy you better have a spotter, because when it goes, it goes with just about no warning.

yeah i haven't done this one in a while but started to bow up with you guys talking shit so here we go...

I really, really want to run a marathon but I just don't know how to make the time needed for training work with my schedule.

Take fewer vacations and work 3 jobs instead of 7.
 
Wait how did 2009 drown again?
I was extraordinarily drunk at beach week and we had a swimming pool at one of the houses we were partying at. I challenged someone to an underwater laps contest and passed out mid-lap because I was a competitive idiot (really intended it to be my last one). Woke up on the side of the pool after a hero performed CPR (now a doctor I believe!). I was in the water a little bit because at first everyone thought I was joking (from what I have heard).

The worst part is that it was Mother's Day. I did call my mom that morning before it all went down, at least. Both it and Cookout's accident were on SUNDAYS so the rule in the family now is to just stay away from water on Sundays.

Have you thought about running faster so it takes less time?

With your schedule during the week it seems like you can do it, you probably just need to cut back on your lifting and CrossFit stuff. The weekend long run takes time but you just get up early on Saturday.
