Some maga folks don't like her because she has said and tweeted mean things about Dear Leader Trump. There were some wild conspiracy theories about how the league and its officials wanted them in the SB, and that's why the zebras were against the Ravens. But no, Lamar and Todd Monken panicked and just decided to have their worst games of the year that day.

Unless.... Lamar and Monken were in on the conspiracy. Hmmmnnn.

And Complacent, any list without Aubrey Plaza, Allison Brie and Anna Kendrick is invalid.

i think much of the beef is not with her, but with the way networks are choosing to give her inordinate amount of attention

makes sense for them to do it from a business standpoint

but you can certainly understand how it's annoying for a football fan

not even a little bit. She averaged around 30 seconds of TOTAL SCREEN TIME per game. So no...i have ZERO concept why it's annoying.

how so? these football fans you're concerned about never seem to mind NFL cheerleaders being on screen, or shots of attractive SEC co-eds, right?
 
Let’s concede all that for argument’s sake… wouldn’t your issue be the network then? Seems misplaced to blame her for the camera panning to her

I've updated the list with those 3 for you and Shooshmoo. Added a few more to show Swift is not close to "hot" women (imo).

I don't follow too many Gen Z or whatever, women, since they bore me :)

you guys are being silly -- sure, for the one game it was 1 minute of screen time

but for the season I've been fed more non-music Taylor Swift content in the last four or whatever months than the rest of her career combined

i'm not blaming her, but it's not interesting to me and it's unavoidable if you want to just follow sports

It's not really that difficult. (A) She has had a ton of public romances (always celebrity) and then makes hay writing breakup songs when they go badly. (B) She heavily brandishes "your average teenage white vanilla girl" persona but she comes off as pretty inauthentic (to me at least).

I have zero beef with her politics and we probably agree on most of that. It's just the vanilla playing to every suburban white girl schtick that is pretty dang annoying to me. Particularly when she doesn't actually seem that down to earth.

There are literally millions of dudes who would be with Taylor Swift. Her only shot at love this time around just happened to be the TE on a dominant NFL team and it just so happened to coincide during the actual NFL season when the dude went to her concert and stood around publicly trying to get his number to her?

By way of comparison, Billie Eilish doesn't want to play to every suburban white girl, and she comes off as way more authentic.

For the record, I also think knocking her looks or saying she doesn't deserve the attention because she isn't hot enough is dumb and mysoginistic. She's attractive enough but she actually is a talented performer. We're not just ranking a random IG model here whose only skill in life is selfies.
