I agree that we the "lack of talent moniker" can still apply, especially when 2/3-5 guys that start for us aren't good at all. That's still 40-60% of the team.
What you been sippin' on?

We are "short" on talent, sure. But we aren't devoid of talent. That's my point.
Oh, I agree that the lack of any decent inside players hurt us tonight. That Kavanaugh dude isn't that good, but looked like a world beater against us. Massive problem going forward.
Our talent is still good enough in other positions to compete on a consistent basis, however, IMO.

Talented team = if we don't win, it's [Redacted]'s fault. Nice.
And we did compete, so that's a good thing.
I thought Bz did an excellent job for 36 minutes of that game. The final four, I felt like he gave Tony a bit too much freedom, and didn't make sure that our shooters received the ball in favorable spots. Too much emphasis seemed to be on letting Travis and Tony create something off of the dribble. That's not their game and that's not how we were playing all game... Don't know if that's on Bz, but just an observation.
We didn't lose that game as much as got beaten by a streaky team... Props to Dayton, they killed us from three in the clutch.
That one hurts, but I can deal with a loss like that. If you can't see the differences between this year and last year, then you probably should just quit while you're ahead...

Agreed. I do wonder what the play call there was. I doubt he told him to shoot a 3 (and obviously he didn't tell him to shoot a long 2), so why did he shoot it? I'm pretty sure it was a drive and dish situation that didn't pan out.
Fuck you. Seriously. We are terrible and lost to fucking Dayton. An Archie Miller coached team. Your expectations are entirely too low and I have no qualms about telling you so. So "you should just quit while you're ahead..."

How hard were you cheering for Dayton down the stretch?
