    Why is the consensus that Washington plays in an awful conference? Cape Henry (top 20 in nation last year, lots of D1 talent) is in their conference and several other solid teams as well.

    Not sure why this "tiny high school with weak competition" theme for Washington keeps coming up. He plays in the same conference as Cape Henry and Norfolk Collegiate; also played VA Episcopal and STAB last year. Not exactly Chase Fischer level hs competition.

    Am I the only one who thinks the future of the basketball program is not entirely dependent on HG? It would be nice to see HG in a Wake uni for a few months but the future is really dependent on consistently landing top 50-100 players who stay for 3-4 years.
