Does last night's drubbing help or hurt the ACC'S chances of ND being a full member? Does this show that ND can make it without the ACC? Or does it show that ND didn't belong and won't get another invite without winning a conference championship and forcing a selection committee's hand?

Does the Irish winning the title help or hurt the ACC? If they were somehow snubbed from the title game I could see where they would feel the need to join the conference in football. Or would the prospects of 5 ACC schools playing them each season be enough to raise the quality of ACC football...
