Danny is working on team chemistry. He had the entire team at River Birch on Saturday for a late brunch. A nice touch on his part.

I wasn't a fan of Danny Manning when he was hired. But I think he is moving us in the right direction. He is going after 4 and 5* players. He isn't afraid of those 4 hall of fame coaches. He is getting ready to beat them at their own game. Let's get behind him and help him do just that!

There is an article in the Tulsa World that may be worth a read...It seems the culture issues that once plagued Wake Basketball are present in the TU Basketball program. I wonder if that is one reason things seem to have slowed down...

The only good thing I see in this hire is it will save me money. I was going to buy season tickets for the first time in three years had the hire been exciting. Can't see myself doing that now.

I don't get the hire.

This hire, if it happens, is just a measure of how much our program has deteriorated under Ron Wellman's stewardship. I don't like the hire. But if it happens, maybe it will unite all of us around the need for a new AD.

The only thing that will get President Hatch's attention is if the pledges and checks to Wake Will stop coming in. I don't plan to give until the basketball mess is cleaned up.
