A search warrant requires evidence and a judge to sign off on. It's not like Biden can say, "put the screws to him" and everyone complies.

In Trump's statement today, he called Putin a genius.
 
CNN reported that on June 3, Jay Bratt, the head of the Counterintelligence and Export Control section at the Justice Department, traveled to the property with three colleagues. They met with two of Trump’s attorneys there, and briefly with Trump himself. The attorneys allowed the investigators access to a basement room where the presidential documents were being kept. Some had Top Secret markings, according to one source interviewed by CNN.

Five days later, at the request of the investigators, Trump’s aides installed a padlock to the door of the storage room.

“They probably saw stuff that Trump should absolutely not be in possession of,” Strzok said. “Subpoenaing it won’t work, because of the chain of custody. And Trump isn’t acting in good faith to just hand the stuff over. The only other option left is to get a warrant.”

I mean it's pretty fucking Wild Mike Pence still thinks he has a political future, right? Like this donk is planning on running for President after his base wants him killed.
 
Mike Pence has one thing going for him. He executed the duties of his office at the time and in the manner expected of him when all but a handful of Republicans were willing to allow Donald Trump to disregard the Constitution and attempt to overthrow the duly elected government. That might count for something, but I doubt it.

He did that one time, but he had 4 years of boot licking with nary a peep about the twice impeached disgraced former president from his lips. No honor warranted.

What party’s nomination is he planning to seek with that feather in his cap? You think that makes him more popular with his base? The opposite is true.

Also this planting evidence thing is surely already embedding into the brains of Republican voters regardless of the facts they like to wait for.
 
Yeah, doing the right and honorable thing is a huge liability anymore as a Republican candidate.

Trump - running, but under indictment or investigation still, having rallies and calling everyone names not participating in any debates

Pence, DeSantis et al - ?????????

Would anyone actually run ? Someone should run, just in case Trump winds up in jail or finally croaks.
