2021 Republican Coup (Practice Run)

That there seems to be a likelihood for Republicans to take control of congress and, even more, that Trump could be their 2024 candidate is quite a testament to the persuasive power of passionately dishonest leadership and media.

And our fearful and gullible human nature.

I can't believe it costs so much to fill up my 12mpg 4 ton truck.

If only trump had found those emails. we'd probably have had advanced notice about the dem's plan to end baby formula as we know it and raise gas prices.

On December 13, the day before Arizona electors would cast their votes for president, Ginni Thomas felt compelled to write to the two legislators again.

“Before you choose your state’s Electors … consider what will happen to the nation we all love if you don’t stand up and lead,” Thomas pleaded. “Never before in our nation’s history have our elections been so threatened by fraud and unconstitutional procedures.” This email included a link to a video where an unidentified speaker demanded that elected representatives “put things right” and “not give in to cowardice.”

Ginni Thomas is married to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, one of 9 people entrusted with upholding the Constitution and safeguarding the rule of law in the world’s longest-running democracy.

The wife of a Supreme Court justice was standing by fraud claims rejected in the courts due to lack of evidence.

And her husband is now out trying to shame his critics by claiming that the sacred Supremes are losing credibility and being turned into a partisan instrument - while his wife tried her best to overturn a legitimate election. And he almost certainly would have approved overturning said election if it had reached the Supreme Court. It's truly Alice-in-Wonderland time.

Pennsylvania Senate candidate David McCormick’s campaign is pushing for additional ballots to be counted in the state’s GOP primary results, according to a lawsuit filed Monday.

The lawsuit pushes for counting mail-in and absentee ballots missing a date on their envelope to be included in the election result.

“These ballots were indisputably submitted on time—they were date-stamped upon receipt—and no fraud or irregularity has been alleged,” according to the complaint, which was obtained by Politico.

It's never fraud until those ballots are for Democrats.

So I guess when people burn evidence, the proper response is to just say "Oh well, they burned evidence, so they must not have done anything wrong because we don't have the evidence."

If you truly believe that the election was stolen, then you must believe that all elections are fraudulent. If all elections are fraudulent, then we live in an autocracy. The only way to save the country is through a violent insurrection.

This is a very dangerous line of thinking.

The GOP's position on election fraud is very simple - if a Democrat wins it is only through cheating and vote fraud. Therefore, it should be perfectly acceptable to overturn the results of said stolen election and put the Republican candidate into the office instead, as they clearly lost only because the Democrat cheated them out of it. There is simply no way that Democrats, outside of a few places like New York or San Francisco or Boston, could possibly win a fair election.

That's where we are, and that's why it is very likely that as early as this November we may see GOP state legislatures or governors try to overturn the results of any elections that don't go their way. And if don't see it this year, we almost certainly will in 2024.

Yep.

And it's all justified by the passionately (brainwashed) felt need to be savin' 'r nation frum the evils/horrors of "socialism", "secularism", and "multiculturalism" an' any other "liberal" whutnot.
