I fell for Longwood. Thought they were the real dealHigh point is the favorite to win the Big South now. I knew Longwood was overrated. I’m looking forward to the HPU and Winthrop game.

You have a Big South hookup. Just ask.I fell for Longwood. Thought they were the real deal
Personally, I do not see that Wake needs to drastically alter their entire game plan because of Burns. Wake only needs to hold him to his averages.Front Burns. Make State pass over the top to get the ball into his hands. He can't score if he can't get the basketball. He doesn't move without the ball so fronting him should be
straight forward. Double off the lob overhead, attacking the dribble that will come. The hard part of fronting is keeping your hands high to make yourself the biggest obstacle as possible. Maybe Keller or Reid is nimble enough to front then reposition if the lob is too difficult to intercept.
Bill Walton was the best that I recall fronting on defense. He could keep his hands up for an entire game and was rarely challenged. If the opponent made the successful pass, he was quick enough to reposition and challenge/block the shot. Bill Russell was good at this as well.
100%. Crazy how much this Board is fixated on DJ Burns. Agree he gets more out of his flabby frame that one would expect, but he's averaging 12 ppg and 4 rpg against a very soft NC State schedule; Burns' numbers further deflate in ACC play where he's averaging 3 rpg which is horrendous for a big. He's big reason why the Pack have been 'meh' this year.I think we are all just shellshocked from Burns’ performance against us last year.

Then call me crazy for being more concerned about how Burns plays against Wake rather than the rest of his schedule. This year's numbers are about the same as last year and last year Burns had 31/9/1/2/2 on 14-26 fg at Wake and 21/6/1/2 on 8-11 fg at State. He scored over 18 four times and two were against Wake.100%. Crazy how much this Board is fixated on DJ Burns. FSU and ND deciding not to suck once conference play started is really shitty for the ACC.ND up at half on the road at BC. ND really has been a different team since The Citadel took them to the woodshed.
