weird take - unless it's a high-end shop, most good boutique places have pre-made drip coffee ready to go for the plebeian classes. and it tastes better and you're supporting locally owned businesses.
but if they're not roasting their own coffee or sourcing the coffee locally, independent coffee shops are generally a waste of time when it comes to the coffee itself
