Looks like Marcus Watson scored 28 but lost in the city championship to Simeon
He was three time all-ACC and ACC player of the year in 1971. First African-American player to win that award.
He is one of the ACC top 50 all time players.
He was too slender to survive in the NBA where the unwritten Bill Russell rule was, "You may shoot the free throws. You may not shoot the layup."
As a pure shooter, Craig was possibly the best. Jeff Teague shot 42% on three for two years. CP3 an amazing shooter who needed to shoot more.
CD was the best scorer we've ever had. He was an excellent shooter, but it's hard to look at his numbers due to not having a three point line.
It could be argued that Charlie, David and Charlie Scott were the best three scorers in ACC history. Their per game numbers were dramatically impacted by the lack of a three point line and the lack of a shot clock. Using raw points to call someone the greatest scorer is preposterous.
Chill and Snoozey were also high volume scorers.

Interesting. Six schools on the 247 link listed as "warm" yet he is visiting a school listed as "cool."

Best thing I learned from that article?https://www.nolegameday.com/2021-sg-dallan-coleman-talks-upcoming-visit-interest-in-fsu-2/
"Coleman plans to make his collegiate decision during the Late Signing Period, which will be somewhere around April 2021."

I like CD!
Props to Danny Manning for being prescient about this dead period... Haven't heard a peep about recruiting in ages!
