Biden finally admits to 7th grandchild

The GOP is a very unserious party. You don't have to look much further than this thread as a perfect example.

The folks who still support the GOP are those who are tethered to an illusion of how the world works by Murdoch, Carlson, Jones, and Trump. It's also sadly devastating the country, and will continue to do so because a large percent of Americans cannot, or do not want to see the wool pulled over their eyes.

Thereff just isn't smart enough to realize he's caught in a mirage and plays right into the hands of the party as a whole. He should be smart enough to overcome the stupidity of what he's hearing and seeing, but apparently he's not, so he posts things like this on a message board that make people around him realize that he is really, really dumb.

Our reaction confirms to him that he's on to something. He can go back to his foxhole (pun intended) with like-minded people who will praise him for taking it to the libs.

I don't know if I've posted this here before. Conservatives remind me of the LOST fandom back in the day. We were all convinced there was some grand plan, so every event in the show had to be leading to something bigger with a satisfying payoff. Instead, we learned the writers were just making up shit as they went along to keep it compelling enough for us to come back.

This is what's happening with conservatives except with the news. They're not watching real-life events. They're watching a story about real-life events told in the conservative media ecosystem. It has to lead to satisfying payoff where their side triumphs. So they see every event from that perspective. Hunter Biden isn't just a son of politician who turned to drugs to cope with his brother's death. He's part of a huge family criminal empire. So forth and so on.

The thing is, these "writers" aren't particularly creative. They can only draw from what they know within conservative circles. That's why projection runs rampant and accusations are omissions of guilt.

Spot on. It’s hard - and the true mark of emotional intelligence- to admit when you’ve been wrong. The country needs about 30% of its population to tap their chest, say my bad and grow up. Given that the vast majority of this 30% is wildly uneducated and wrapped up in a cult, that will not happen.
In order to survive, America needs a functioning Republican Party. The Democratic Party has some major faults - particularly the far left - but is mostly led by adults with a semblance of moral compass. The leaders on the right being Greene, Tuberville, Hawley, Cruz etc showing deference to a fucking embarrassment/serial rapist pedophile/insurrectionist (where do you stop…) in order to escape the fury of the aforementioned imbeciles is keeping America from being a great country.
2015 was the end of the Republican Party and the start of the downfall of the nation

I think it’s way more likely that Reff believes everything he’s said here than that he’s intentionally posting stuff he doesn’t believe in just to troll.

Maybe his motivation in posting was to be a troll, but that doesn’t at all mean that he doesn’t believe this stuff.
