I still think the location and timing was a deliberate troll intended to distract from these SDNY shenanigans. It makes no sense otherwise. There was no reason to believe they couldn’t draw a big crowd anywhere. So why not a big city in a swing state?

The attendance could simply be that they chose a small city. Only 400,000 people.

Tulsa metro is a million people. He still only drew 6,200. And the bigger the city, the lower the percentage of Trump supporters.

With some Evangelical churches (especially megachurches) it's a real question as to whether they're really religious organizations or just conservative political and cultural enterprises that claim to worship Christ and follow his teachings. And it's been going on for a long time, at least since the days of the Moral Majority, Jimmy Swaggart, and Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker.

I completely agree. Jesus is the grift to make them rich. Your church pastor buys a plane? Investigate them through the Bureau of Religious Grift (the BORG).

4. Get even with every individual and every group that has opposed him. Given how incredibly petty and vindictive he is, there's little doubt that if he gets reelected he'll get Barr and others to go after his opponents to a much greater extent than he has in his first term. It'll be open season on his opponents in the media, Congress, statehouses, academia, entertainment industry, and other places.

They had a built-in excuse for the sparse crowds, if they had only cared about the health of Trump's biggest fans.
