I love Rocket League but I hit a ceiling pretty hard around Plat 3/Diamond 1. I am a good defensive player and can do basic aerial plays, but once I started going against the people that fly off walls and the ceiling and shit, I was toast.

Better.....worse.....doesn’t really matter. 80% of the shots on target get fed into an RNG that decides goal or no goal. My conversion rate on corners was like 1% after a few years of 45%. The game wildly swung back and forth between 12 and 19.

Haha I was just giving you a hard time. Certainly things in FIFA have been broken over time, corners and finesse shots being two of them. The keeper complaint just gets me because its not like every other player isn't also dealing with it. More shots on goal = more goals in the long run. Not in individual games always. But that's true of real soccer too
