Ish would hold the ball too long, kick it out at the last minute where there was no shot, get the ball back, dribble a bit, almost turn it over, and attempt a contested fadeaway 20-footer with a 20% chance of going on...

I love Ish, but his legacy is a bit better than I remember him being...

Didn't Ish coming back screw up the chemistry of our last good team or am I remembering that wrong?

Uh, did you watch any games during the 2009-2010 season?

He definitely did play that way during 2008-2009, but for 2009-2010 he took a couple of dozen steps forward and became one of the best point guards in the ACC. Chase on that team would have been nice, but really CJ was a good catch and shoot player for the first half or so of the season. Hopefully Chase doesn't hit a wall.

Agreed. I think Chase is over his first college game shooting jitters. Damn that kid can shoot. Has a nice ball fake move, too, that created open shots for others. Didn't he get the rebound after Nebraska's last miss? Kid has a good floor game already. Is he really 6-4? He looks shorter.
 
Chase values the basketball, makes smart decisions, plays good D, and can flat out stroke it. IMO, we've got ourselves a future all-ACC performer.
 
He's a basketball player with a nice stroke. Good start for him.
 
I was worried after watching him in our first two games, but he shook off the jitters and is now my favorite Deac to cheer for.

Nope. Teague sulking around like a sad 1st-grader whenever he didn't have the ball in his hands ruined the chemistry of our last good team.

He's a tall 6'2".

The scouting reports were correct, when he gets an open look, that ball is going in damn near every time. But wow he just seems so comfortable in the offense and being out on the floor in general, moving without the ball, hitting the open man, etc. Just a great feel for the game. Remarkable for a freshman. And you cant teach that.

Love Chase. Great game.

He needs to make sure both feet are behind the 3-pt arc. He hit 2 shots that should have been 3s if not for his foot touching the line. Miles Simon even commented on it.
 
Now that Chase is settling down, they need to help him get more shots. He is taking less than 6 per game. TC needs to start looking for him more like CJ is doing.
