Yeah depending on the wind 74 on the beach in the late fall with little humidity could be chilly-ish. Plus she won’t get sunburned.

I mean, it’s apples to oranges, but yeah I think Common’s competing use of Afrocentric/black progressive themes and commercialism/street rap themes is interesting, and the Soulquarians using a lot of live instruments in their production with soul/funk influences was excellent.

Obviously it’s pretty fucked for any normal person but going to have to deal with it for 3 reasons:

1) It’s a meeting with a significant prospective client.
2) It was coordinated by our IB team who doesn’t believe in the weakness of holidays.
3) Half of the participants are in Europe so they obviously don’t care.

why is your office even open on Friday?

My daughter has to work Friday and she works for the State of Ohio...which is even more bizarre to me
 
I’m working today and tomorrow and driving to the lake Tuesday night. Will probably work a half day on Wednesday.

Working on Sunday because we leave for Gatlinburg on Monday for my wife’s family’s Thanksgiving/Christmas get together.

I work in banking so the only days we are formally “closed” are the Federal Reserve holidays.
 
I had to work the day after Thanksgiving last year and I was so hungover that it was legitimately a struggle to just exist. The good news is nobody is buying wine the day after Thanksgiving whatsoever. I think we had four sales between the two shops by 5 PM
