I'll mark this thread down too for when Mueller's findings come out and the same comments pop up again about Mueller being in the Clinton camp.
 
Where does it even go from here?

If Comey has a legit testimony then a Dem Congress may start talking impeachment, but that clearly won't happen with the Pub led Congress.
 
he has plenty. Trump has a spineless GOP congress. He's basically a dictator at this point.

Worst case for Trump is there is clear picture of Obstruction of justice, Dems can scream all they want but you would have to see clear erosion of Repub support in the house for it to amount to anything more than a bucket of warm spit.
 
I think Comey is going to lay out a pretty intriguing picture. If he has recorded every single conversation via a memo like he says he has, then Trump is in a world of trouble.
 
What questions will the Republicans ask to avoid talking about Trump? Clinton email investigation?
 
They'll focus in on testimony he already gave about saying there was no pressure from anyone about the investigation. Anything to discredit his testimony. I imagine the Clinton server and letter will come up a lot as well.
 
People need to stop thinking any of this leads to impeachment. Ever. Even if the Dems take control of the House in 2018. What it leads too is a further weakening of the President's ability to get anything done during his presidency, and the ability of Dems to take over the House in 2018 and the presidency in 2020 based on the President being a complete lame duck.

But that pre-supposes the Democrats actually develop a workable economic message, which is far from a sure thing.
