If the whole thing is going to blow up anyway, I'd be fine with this taking place almost immediately; then, WFU,Duke, UNC, NCSU, UVA, GT and a couple more could go back to playing games on Saturdays with mostly 1p kickoffs a 3 hr. games. And back to the old home-away basketball schedules, etc.
Considering this has Nebraska, UCLA, and Tech with the criteria of "recent success", has anyone updated this in the last 20 years?
Amazing how a long ago “legacy” can Get you in a “premier league” when you haven’t done shit in decades right Miami and Nebraska?

I didn't realize the ACC gets part of the endowmentPlus SMU is about our size with about $2 billion endowment & 7000 undergrads.
Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner! Why do we care about academic rank of these schools for a process being driven by football?
Zero SMU fans ever expected an SEC bid.man you know SMU and its rich asshole Texan boosters was primed for an eventual Big 12 or SEC invite but then they're gonna settle for free ACC membership
At the moment, the final decisions are made by university presidents. They get the vote on who they offer bids to, and they care, a lot, about academics. They care most about money, but they certainly consider academics, as strange as it might seem, when voting on their potential offers.Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!
A million american-style football players are playing in Europe. Granted, not all at university, but still. Has the potential to open a whole new market. If this is all about TV Revenue and College Football. How on earth does this make any sense?
