Don Pablo Escobar Mafia, El Patron is el dead.

Lol. Dv7 has run a lot of games that arent broken. He just rightfully gets remembered for the broken ones. . But they are all still fun. And I appreciate the creativity

real talk, link one that wasn't broken

I just looked, and I'm not sure it exists. at least the other broken ones were fun, though

Smidge move to chucktown, live the life, send us weekly reports on its greatness

Since no one here gets in depth with voting patternes and just plays off tone then we would have had a hard time breaking the game (as long as Rom Doesn't off Gouda)
If we didn't know that this game could have been interesting.

Did you not read the game? Half of it was people talking about voting patterns and breaking the game. Lol

Remember the game where I died and as a result, Chaos got a list of all players and roles?

What's the incentive for guards to stay alive? I thought +ev for Pablo to kill guards so there's no way to eliminate people who can't be Pablo. Unless the guard is going to make it the whole game...I don't get why Pablo wouldn't want them all dead d1.

Agreed. Thats why I thought killing gouda was right move. Nobody could use anything from day 1 at that point

I meant other games. This one we were told the voting restrictions so we got in detail.

homie, it's not their fault you announced vote restrictions to the entire goddamn game

I ASKED YOU FUCKS TO NOT TRY TO BREAK THE GAME WITH BULLSHIT

Just play for a couple rounds, get info, and then start using the math.

but yeah, as I've said, I shouldn't have done that and it should have been in their PMs

that was my thikning too. i abandoned it n2 because i thought i needed votes from rsf and jtp to swing things later

No. If dv7 wants to make up some new puzzle game where we make charts so be it. Don't call it mafia.

this version of mafia is on mafiascum

i made tweaks with the votes to fit the canon (which I shouldn't have announced to the thread) but the principle of the game was the same.

you seem like the type of guy that orders the same thing from a restaurant every time you go there

You just can't help yourself.

Lol. Dv7 has been making and modding games for almost ten years. They exist

Has he? I remember before the first Sherlock game started he said it was his first theme game. I just looked, and he has 8 hosted games, all in the last year or two.

1.) "Plain" game. The start of DV7's fascination with open formats. Not broken, but would've been hard to break: http://www.ogboards.com/forums/showthread.php/25885-Plain-Mafia-Game-CIVS-WIN!
2.) 1st Sherlock game. Has the reputation of being the most broken non-Smidge game on these here rjkarl forums. 'Nuff said. http://www.ogboards.com/forums/showthread.php/25968-Let-us-never-speak-of-this-again
3.) "Re-do" in the wake of the Sherlock disaster. Plain open format. Worked fine (this is the game where timdunk elected to not protect anybody for three nights as BG and got mad when I called him "fucking useless" for it). http://www.ogboards.com/forums/showthread.php/25972-Redo-Mafia-Game-Mafia-Dominates-Game-over
4.) Secret Garden game. I didn't play in this, and don't remember it, but a quick look towards the end of the thread shows some discussion about how mafia moles break games. I assume that means the game didn't go so hot. http://www.ogboards.com/forums/showthread.php/26037-Secret-Garden-Mafia-Thread-Day-4-ends-4-30-PM
5.) Premier League game. Again, end of the thread talks about overcomplexity breaking games, and DV7's OP rules have this gem: "Unless you have an INVESTIGATIVE ROLE you cannot post your role in the thread," which I remember led to a bunch of confusion/dumbtelling/clearing/AA's. There was some disagreement on whether or not this game was actually broken, which is progress I guess? http://www.ogboards.com/forums/show...e-Mafia-Civs-win-6-6-kills-Not-flawless-4-AAs
6.) Sherlock #2. Like the first one, but somehow worse. http://www.ogboards.com/forums/show...-When-Good-Ideas-Go-Wrong-The-dv7-Mafia-Story
7.) C9++ games are tough to fuck up. http://www.ogboards.com/forums/showthread.php/28340-C9-Mafia-Game-Civs-win!
8.) this one

I don't remember the Secret Garden game. WTF is that?

nevermind, just clicked it. Now I remember!

Genius.

Could have sworn he hosted games on old board. Maybe I'm misrememberig
