Hartman, Perry and other NFL Draft Prospects

Taylor Heinicke starting against Sam Ehlinger in an NFL game (as will be the case this Sunday), does provide reasonable grounds to think Sam might find an NFL landing spot.

There are a handful of great QBs and a lot of meh. Sam will absolutely get a good look.

NFL loves tall guys who can toss it around. He’s a little on the short side. Batted balls become an issue. Hopefully he can make a squad.

i think he'll have a shot

wolford has held on to a nice backup qb career

To at least some extent the batted balls result from the offensive scheme, where the QB throws the ball frequently within a yard or so of the line of scrimmage. Makes it a little easier for offensive linemen to bat it.

Maybe that’s part of the offensive scheme.

Unsure if this 247 guy has any credibility, but he mocks Kobie Turner as the 30th pick here: https://247sports.com/LongFormArtic...for-CBS-Sports-No-1-QB-196069116/#196069116_6
He has NFL size and has been grading as one of the best D-line guys in all of college football. So he should be looked at. He needs to maintain his performance level and also impress in the "underwear olympics."

Clawson isn't doing this with smoke and mirrors. There are some NFL level dudes wearing old gold and black.
