So we have yet another mass shooter who invokes the same rhetoric as Trump and other republicans, acts on said rhetoric because it’s inspiring, and trump and other republicans are getting off Scott free? Great stuff, GOP. Winning elections is all that matters to you. To afraid to call him out.

No surprise at all. It's blatantly obvious that if these two shootings were the result of foreign terrorists, like ISIS, or domestic left-wing radicals, the feds and news media would be taking a completely different strategy and approach. It's almost impossible to get the vast majority of Republicans, or much of the news media, to even call this what it is: white supremacist/nationalist terrorism, let alone actually do something about it. There's a definite double standard, and it's led to a good many deaths.

As an aside, the bosiding from Republicans, and especially right-wing websites and media outlets, is in full swing this morning. Lots of talk equating Antifa and other left-wing activists with right-wing terrorism (even though there isn't a single example of an Antifa member killing anyone, while white supremacists have killed 29 people just in the last 72 hours.) They're never going to change, or admit to what's happening. And the GOP high command is going to privately frown on going after these people and groups too much, lest they lose some of their base, as the article above clearly states. It's that simple.

Trump is such a lying asshole. He's blaming video games and mental health.

He's also saying he is going to give the FBI more resources to fight hate groups. The problem is he cut the funding by close to 90% and staffing by similar amounts.
