That's a strangely hyperbolic post. Whose moral high ground? I haven't seen anybody on the left claim that possession of classified information isn't important anymore because of this. There's demand for action in terms of investigating both and figuring out how the National Archives can avoid this in the future.
"Length of time" only matters if there's evidence that people had access to the docs or that they were moved around instead of just sitting in a box intermingled with non-classified docs.
