Retired US Soccer / World Cup Thread (RIP)

Kickoff at 10:30 AM for the U17s. A little surprised not to see Jaylin Lindsey in the XI.

Edit: seeing a few tweets that he may be out due to concussion.

US up 1-0 in the 20th on a goal from Weah. Was set up on the break by Carleton and Akinola

First time watching more than 5 mins of this team, and they look pretty good. Impressed with the attackers and the LB Dest, who apparently is a Dutch duel-national.

Up early 1-0. Great play by Carleton to make some room and develop the play.

While we're talking about ways to improve US Soccer, how about finding a way to pay off some of these Latin American countries so our games can be televised in the US on real cable channels that most people have !

My BeIN "HD" looks like a cell phone video from 2006.

Great news everybody, we've got a friendly against Portugal on Nov 14 !

It'll be just like the World Cup !

What a gorgeous team goal! Great combination down the right. Finds the 9 in the box. Turns and finds a man at the top of the box to slot it home first time.

Gorgeous team goal!

I do t know whether to be encouraged or depressed that our U-17s show a better understanding of space and shape than our senior team. Probably both.
