Sam Hartman is…..

Let's glance at the Wake record books a bit.
https://godeacs.com/documents/2021/6/8//Records_2021.pdf?id=10959

Hartman has 2073 passing yards and 19 passing TDs in 7 games. Hartman is 12th in yards per game and 10th in TDs. Wolford (2017) had 3192 passing yards and 29 TDs. With at least 6 games left, Hartman should surpass those records by a large margin.

Roberson has 672 rec yards (14th) and 5 TDs (t39th). Perry has 600 rec yards (25th) and 8 TDs (t5th). Both have a shot at challenging Chris Givens' (2011) record 1330 yards and Kenny Duckett's (1980) record 12 TDs. Sage had 11 in 2019 before his injury.

Sage would have finished with 15 TD’s if he hadn’t gotten hurt. We still played Cuse, Duke and the bowl game vs. Michigan State after he went down against VT.

Yeah wide receiver is one position we have not had a drop off in recent years. Thought we might be screwed with Greene out and Roberson getting all the attention but Perry has stepped up bigly.

Along with Morin, Stewart, and now Williams.

Sciba gonna go and get paid or come back for another year and collect every NCAA kicking record? Right now every made field goal is moving him about 8 spots on the all time kicks made list. He would likely need most of next season to overtake the leader in total FGs made. Sciba has 69. Leader has 96.

To interest the pros Sciba needs to kick a few from 50+ in games, not practice.

According to Vegas Insider, Hartman has the 10th best odds to win the Heisman.

Sam is currently tied with Tanner Price with 52 TD's (John has 59 and Riley 60). He is currently ahead of Tanner and John for career completion %, but behind Riley. Sam currently has the highest QBR of the 4.

(Would it surprise you to learn that Tanner has more yards passing than John and fewer INT's than both Riley and John?)

Compared to Wolford, no. Tanner played on some thoroughly mediocre to bad teams, but Wolford had some horrendous offensive lines those first two years. Fewer INTs than Skinner really surprises me, though.

Tanner was a competent college quarterback, but being sandwiched between Riley, who has legend status because of the 2006 season, and Wolford, who we remember for peak-Wolford those last two seasons, definitely overshadows him. The fact that in the last 15 years our QB floor was Tanner Price is interesting to think about.

Price played with Givens and Camp.

traveled to Stanford to watch Tanner Price play as a freshman out there. Poor kid was running for his life.

Good lord, who cares.

Better?
WR depth chart in my dream world:

WR 1: Sage Surratt/AT Perry

WR 2: Donavan Greene/T. Morin

Slot: Roberson/Key Williams
