unplanned roads feels more gritty biff that's not helping your case

What's grittier than living in a fortified city trying to protect yourself from the Spaniards and the Indians ?

Grit- My former neighbor starred in 7-10 Pornhub videos. And is considered a queen in the foot fetish community

If she had red-hair she would make Mako's all underrated team

seems like if you have to intervene to make a river flow in a different direction than nature intended it's not a real river.

rivers have been dammed and channels created but idk of any to that extent. the Mississippi still flows the direction it originally did.

to the surprise of nobody, I rarely enjoy spending time in these new master-planned communities/neighborhoods

very convenient, but so dead feeling

like hudson yard
My favorite is when developers go in a bulldoze the forest, pile up all the trees, set them on fire, then build roads and name them things like "Oak View Way" or "Red Maple Drive" and name the neighborhood "Turkey Creek Preserve" or "Forest Ridge Reserve." Then they build houses with lumber shipped in from Canada and plant a bunch on non-native Bradford pear trees. Now that is a REAL community.

yeah, funny you say that b/c nearby they just leveled a small stand/forest of trees, slapped up a bunch of awful duplexes and named it Something Preserve

Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone?

My dipshit beagle won’t stop screaming at deer, other dogs out walking, people out walking or sometimes just nothing, yet he’s clever enough to get out of range when I come to move him away from the window. Grit.

Tbf though I hate it when they build planned communities in my hometown

I live in a place called "Cadillac Farms," so I am definitely in a position to judge Oak View Terrace dwellers.

That’s some Union County shit.

Grit in this case provided by constantly picking up a nail in your tire because you spend so much time in your car driving from the hastily constructed exurban Forest Ridge Reserve where the tract housers build too fast to clean up their debris.

I've always thought my highest calling would be to name subdivisions and their streets. Whispering Falls Estates, Oak Crest Drive, Ridgeline Court, etc.
