Did ND or Texas A&M have a mass exodus of commits the last 2 years?
No. They had better defenses.
Cool, so our defense will be better bc we are similar to A&M and ND. Thanks!

I agree with your assessment of Greene. My best friend owns WBRF 98.1(the flagship FM station for WFU sports)and WSYD/WPAQ (AM stations which covers MA athletics). He talked to two people very close to MA high school sports and was told that Greene is still bound for WFU. I’m trying to confirm he will enroll early. Also, he was told the basketball tryouts haven’t been held yet. Thus, it appears that the MaxPreps information is erroneous.I've watched Donovan Greene play both football and basketball over several years. His biggest assets that I saw were his strength and athletic ability more than speed. That being said, he does have significant speed even when compared to D1 opponents. He has insane leaping ability, I've witnessed him drop step in the lane and murder the rim multiple times with little effort as well as out leap everybody on the football field with little effort. I witnessed him dunk on an alley-oop from his brother in a middle school game (against my son) which is very rare in this area. Also, Mt.Airy has a sophomore quarterback that is probably the best throwing quarterback in the league this year so he is getting some good deep passes again this year. On a side note, I've talked to Mt.Airy coaches from both sports as recently as last month who said Donovan is not risking injury by playing basketball this year. That may have changed, but I think it's a little odd?
Last night should give us a nice boost.
Big Cam Newton sized QBs don't wince.I've watched the game winner several times. Bachman's block was a legit great block, but I think Freudenthal would have scored anyway. He was wide open and turned it up field immediately. If Newman hadn't waited for the exact second and risked the hit, that safety would have had a good angle and it may have been short of the first down.
So Miami just offered CJ Elmonus, an OT commit to us. He said Wake is still on top but he'll check all his options before signing in December.
Elmonus made a HUGE jump in 247's rankings from almost being a 2 star to almost being a 4 star (top-400 guy now). His 247-composite ranking is still in the 1100's though.
ETA: At the end of June, he was our lowest rated commit. Now 247 (247 exclusive rankings, not composite) have him as our third highest ranked commit, behind Nolan and Greene, right in front of Shamar McCollum. Weirdly large jump for him.
