Wake Golf 2024 - Women’s NCAA Regionals May 6-8; Men's NCAA Regionals May 13-15

Mimi! way to slam that door! -3 last 4 holes.

LSU, seemingly dead in the water today, made a run and appears to have qualified.

survive and advance

WF moves on unless Carolina has a triple or worse on 18

everyone had one round of -3 or better, except for Lauren Walsh, who had the low score on Day 1.

Now that we're in it's good that we faced some adversity and got it done. That can only help moving forward.

Anything can happen in match play, but Stanford has to be an overwhelming favorite to win the title. They are just absolutely blitzing their region. Rose Zhang may be having the best year in women's or men's golf history.

Mimi and Emilia with 3 birdies each down the back side to make it look easy but thankfully for them and ASU imploding it wasn't as dramatic as could have been. Onward we march.

What's the story with the ncsu player with no score? Did she get dq'd. They went from way in the lead to having to use a high score.

We have 4 of the top 36 players in the nation scoring wise. they just need to play like they are capable in the finals and we should make match play. Need to top of our lineup to be near the top of the leaderboard.

Looks like she got DQd per an Arizona reporter. Guess she signed for a wrong scorecard - don't see anything else online about it

The ladies have been finished 12th and 16th in the NCAA since finishing 2nd in 2018-19. This has been considered a team capable of a championship for the past five years.

Despite their dismal play at Grayhawk the past two years and the fact that Stanford is rightfully considered the best team in the country, I have a hunch the ladies will overcome both of those obstacles. Nothing more than a hunch and a team of talented players. The university and womens golf are due for some good luck. They need to begin hydration immediately.

NC State girl signed for an incorrect score. Instead of counting a 70 they had to count a 78. State girls, coaches and fans had already had a big celebration on the green thinking they had won a Regional Title. Luckily this didn't cost them a bid to the nationals.

That is so NC State; they'll still probably have a parade.

slightly off topic, but Congratulations to Morgan Ketchum, a freshman at Virginia Tech who is from Winston Salem and was a high school teammate of future WF star Macy Pate-she finished 4th individually in the regional, actually finished ahead of all the Wake players.

WF Men tee off at 11:30 (I assume Central Time) in Norman in the NCAA Regional. Stats can be found here.

Fourteen teams and five individuals are set to compete at the regional. The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams will advance to the NCAA Championships. WF won the New Haven Regional last year.
