MAYBE college baseball having its marquee series in a ballpark different from pretty much any other isn't ideal. Also, I would hope that our best hitter doesn't have broken ribs WHEN we make it back to Omaha.

Agree. It's not like we were the only team to struggle with that.
 
While I love the recognition for Wake, it does suck that the free money that was available last February/March betting on Wake baseball is going to be non-existent this year.

I bet a decent number of the February games for Wake don't even get run lines offered by the sportsbooks
 
Reinisch had at least 2 bombs (RF trees, dead center) in yesterday's scrimmage and another very hard hit liner. Also Javar, Brechbul....and someone else I forgot. Katz seeing the ball, incl a really nice liner down the rf line for a double.

Morningstar wearing #4 is...interesting.
 
I think it's pretty clear that Walter doesn't want to do number retirements. And I don't blame him, it's a difficult task to start to do that in a program that has 75+ years of history to consider.

I do think some sort of ring of honor or something would be good to do, but that's something that's better to think about in the offseason.

You can still check the website since we don't have a 2024 roster yet! I know it was late last year as well, but seems like 3 weeks before the first game and we should be able to view the new roster.

I mean, the roster isn’t set yet. We still have more players than available slots, so we don’t know the final roster as of yet.
 
Can anyone confirm or deny that the GT transfer pitcher...who is not eligible for the '24 season...counts as a Spring '24 roster spot?
