um, did you not read the article?
I think he was referring to the first article on the first page of the thread.

Exactly....except the "gentlemen's" agreement took place when hired. He was essentially given extra time than is given in most coaching changes to retool whatever was perceived wrong with the program. What that was and real/not is immaterial to said agreement. But underlying said agreement......Wellman believed him better able to coach a team and coach up players, that hasn't happened to date. Either that happens or it doesn't and the evidence should be crystal clear this year...with a fairly young but experienced team and all Bz recruits. Wellman can then honestly say he honored the agreement, and praise Bz for "righting" the program. Bz will resign stating he's just not the coach for Wake.[Redacted] resigns in March. There will be no "firing".
I think this was likely part of a gentlemens agreement [Redacted] and Ron came to after last season. Ron agreed to give [Redacted] one more year to make the postseason. If not, [Redacted] would resign and Wake would owe him nothing for year 5 on his original deal.
It is a win-win for both of them. Ron either proved everyone wrong with [Redacted] coming through with a winning season or he got him off the books with a complete fresh start financially to find a new coach.
LOL How old is this guy again?

We all wait. The bzzout movement doesn't sleep...it waits.
By contrast, Buzz's suit/shirt/tie combo looks damn stylish.

Unless Bz gets to the NIT, which means some big wins given the weak schedule, that's what I think will happen.
