So Wednesday is the big game (WF-VT predictions/pregame discussion)

Just so we're airing all the facts about Sherman, he graduated salutatorian of his high school class, went to Stanford to play WR, was injured, learned a second position, played it well enough for two years to get drafted by the Seahawks, and, oh yeah, along the way got his bachelors and a masters degree.

Richard Sherman's crime is giving a ridiculous interview.

I, too, wish my alma mater had intelligent and dedicated players that I could watch on both the court and field.

doesn't matter. has dreds.

We almost beat VT in VT last year, right? Like maybe CJ missed the game winner.

This Wake team is better than last year's team, VT is worse that last year's team, and it isn't a Tuesday. Wake wins a game that nobody wants to watch, 65-61.

So Wake has only been favored in FOUR ACC games under Bz. 4 of 58. That's how bad we've been.

Nice, just got an invite to the Bobcats/Clippers game tonight. I'd much rather watch CP3 than whatever the hell is going to happen up in Blacksburg.

Excerpt taken from Richard Sherman article written last summer:

Aound 12 he saw a documentary about Muhammad Ali, and then he started to recognize what a potent brew knowledge and confidence could be. "[Ali] understood how to manipulate the world," Sherman recalls. "When he said, 'The champ is here,' he probably wasn't that cocky. He created a persona. He was a leader, an entertainer, and he knew how to break people down in the ring. I didn't really care about boxing, but I wanted to be like Ali."

wait, pro athletes are entertainers? no wai!

why does everyone forget that all the fucking time?

May as well watch two Crabtrees playing against each other.

Pretty sure he is still out unless tonight is his first game back.

Erin Andrews caught Sherman in the heat of the moment, after a huge play and after a "tiff" with an opponent -- converging at the end of a huge game and a huge win. The guy was understandably pumped and had not had a chance to mentally shift gears. All in all, I think I accepted his behavior a little more readily than I did the snooty reaction of Erin Andrews.

No, he had plenty of time to shift gears--change of possession and running the clock out. I know they talk huge amounts of shit during the game and all that, but his interview was over the top compared to most post-game interviews. He's not the first football player to make a game winning play. I actually thought some of his follow-up interviews were even more childish in his excuse making. To each his own I guess.

The latter. On a side note, I talked to a guy at the State game who said he would be satisfied if Wake went 9-0 or 8-1 at home and 0-9 on the road. Unfortunately, he's in the Moricle Society.

I wouldn't be too unhappy if this happened. The 0-9 would be disappointing but going 9-0 at home with this schedule would indicate an okay team. Let me be clear that this is relative to the team we have this year not normal Wake. [Redacted] still must go.

LOL at a Moricle Society member being satisfied with literally the definition of mediocrity.

And Numbers, this is the new normal.

Could someone post the current KenPom and Vegas "projections" for the game?
