Agree. I was at the game - too many careless errors - we can be very weak in scoring potential. Once I noticed (IMHO) we had 1.5 people on the floor that were reasonable options to score. Passes to players and they don't even look for an option to score. (Good, I guess, because they can't score and the opposition knows that) , The many missed FTs got to a point that seemed like a total lack of focus and concentration - that's the players and more - proper mental preparation. We do need a fresh/positive re-start in the program - like football.
 
Has anyone else noticed that WakeForestSports.com didn't even bother to post their normal "quotes" page for the State post-game? Our pressers are now so bad that our official site doesn't even cover them.

Unless he sold it, his coastal property is at Sea Trail/Sunset Beach. Twin Lakes Seafood and Crabby Oddwaters both reopen for the season March 1; about a week before Buzz will be available to pay them a daily visit.
We own property at Sunset, and when I'm down there outside of basketball season and have my Wake gear on, I've wondered how awkward it would be to run into Buzz; do we stop and speak for a minute, say a quick "Go Deacs" and keep moving, or just avert our eyes and act like we didn't see each other?

It's not unusual for Wakeforestsports.com to NOT include quotes for away games.

Or, here's another scenario: You're taking a late afternoon stroll along the beach, and you notice a dorsal fin (possibly great white shark?) above water stealthily coming in behind Bz, as he goes for a swim. Do you warn him?

I get the feeling this article was written in this tone because Dan, once again, asked Bzz about the road record and Bzz finally responded with a "fuck you buddy" in the hallway outside the locker room.

No idea. I've just noticed it over the years. If Wakeforestsports.com wanted us to see each and every post-game presser - I'm certain that it would appear on the web page shortly after the game. Other schools post all of their post-game pressers. I guess Wakeforestsports.com must have some reason that the pressers are not posted??? Hmm???

I don't want to come across as a bzzz apologist, because I, like everyone else feel that he needs to get out of dodge. Last night though is a pretty firm example of the team packing it in just as much as buzz. The lack of focus on the free throw line can't be blamed on buzz. The jokingly bad T/O's can't completely fall on the shoulders of buzz. The average game plan and below average in game coaching should fall on his shoulders though. Agree with the aforementioned post that there has never been a more fitting time for fresh blood in our basketball program.

Really, I think it falls squarely on coaching, because 1) that is nothing new and Bzzzz can talk about practicing free throws a lot as much as he wants, but whatever he is doing isn't working. and 2) the lack of focus comes from having no faith in your coach and Bzzz's inability to motivate his players.
 
Just can this clown and let's move on. He's a miserable fuck that no one wants anywhere near Wake Forest. He had a week to prepare for this game, and true to form, we got blown out on the road.

Not saying some of the blame shouldn't stay with Buzz, just hard to blame a coach entirely for his players missing that many free throws IMO. Either way we can all agree that the "job" being done by our coaching staff is being done poorly. We only have a month left of this mess.
 
Would it have killed Bzz to burn a time out in the middle of the State run at the start of the second half?

No doubt, except poorly may not even be strong enough to describe how bad [Redacted] is.

Even so, the only way he saves his job is if we finish 5-2 in conference with one of those 5 being against Duke. Then a win in the ACC tourney would be needed to be tacked on. That would give us an NIT birth and be the only way I can see buzz staying around. All of this is highly unlikely so no need to worry.
