And you really know the interview will be fair because Megyn Kelly is pissed that Josh Duggar is being tied to Republican politicians just because he’s been frequently photographed campaigning with Republican politicians. A lot. Via Mediaite:

“The fact that a presidential candidate has posed with some random member of the family that’s going through this issue is somehow a problem for the GOP’ers?”"

No Megan. The head of the Familiy Research Council, a lobbying firm, making speeches, taking pictures and raising money all over the country who has molested his sisters and other children doesn't qualify as "some random member of the family." Family being exactly 21 people making bank off a TV show using mom's super vagina.

This is just another great example of hick pubs that are so effing stupid it makes one's head hurt. Media damage trumps family emotional and physical damage? Maybe that's just how things work in these crazy ass "families".
 
the fact that his record as a minor was made public only upsets people when its a young innocent unarmed black man that just knocked over a convenience store and wrestled for a cops gun.

This is clearly a sick occurrence that happened in the family but it is not an issue that only republicans face. Sadly it happens all over America. Are you blaming all the parents on both sides of the isle and calling them paedophile parents as well? its so sick that you idiots can't understand that the family in their minds have dealt with this years ago and they feel violated that their kids trust in authorities was broken and they have to relive it.

I do love how quick liberals love to throw around their stereotypes but hey that's what being a liberal allows you to do.

I personally have never seen the show but laugh at the ignorance of some on here.
 
Kindly point us to a prominent liberal family that has profited immensely by espousing "family values," who then hypocritically swept child molestation under the rug.

I agree. The Dugar parents are clearly the victims here. If it wasn't for those damn liberals, their daughters would never have been molested.

"Trust in the authorities"? I trust the authorities to identify child molesters and list them on registries and monitor them, so that they don't have a chance to come in contact with my kids. The Duggars and their pedophile state trooper friend undermined that system. "Trust the authorities" indeed. They trusted the authorities to sweep it under the rug, and didn't GAF that doing so might endanger the children of others.

I think 89 forgets that Duggar molested at least one girl outside of his family as well. Politics are ugly and fragmented but I can't believe the rank and file are rallying around a guy who molested his little sisters and the parents who covered it up. #goteam
 
it's not a stereotype to say that people who molest children were very often molested themselves.

4 daughters and a baby sitter were fondled/molested. One of his sisters was younger than 10. His parents only sought outside help after they had knowledge of three seperate incidents. Took him to an unlicensed Christian counseling center.

After all of this happened, the wife recorded a robo call about transgenders sneaking into girls locker rooms to molest them. Jim Bob claimed their son was not a child molester because he too was a child when he molested other children. Adult pedophiles are really bad, but as long as teenagers aren't yet adults amolesting younger kids is not so bad.

The focus of their ire was police records being leaked and they strongly hinted at pursuing legal action. Kinda curious if there was hush money paid to the baby sitter. Duggar family rules include no hand holding before engagement and no kissing before marriage. How old are their kids when they get married? Family rules make Liberty University look like ECU or Arizona State.

Get that Fox was the most favorable interview they could possibly get, but they didn't help themselves too much. Just a very strange family trying to make themselves look like victims.

I guess, I wouldn't jump to that conclusion with Jim Bob, though. I think the environment, the centrality that sexuality holds in their theology, and a closed family dynamic that affirms a certain view of purity above all else is more likely than direct sexual abuse.
