MBB Game 8: @ The Wisconsin Badgers: Tuesday 9pm ESPNU

I'm giving Bradford some time: he was sick/hurt last year, lost a ton of weight in the offseason, and it's been start/stop this year with some minor injuries, I think (he stretches his quad a lot). Both he and Marsh are shooting >85%. I think he's at worst a decent option/serviceable big body, but there's a little room for more there. Also good body language on the bench.

Yeah. He’ll improve. Last year, Walton improved significantly from this point to the end of the year.
 
bradford appears to be a well-liked and kinda goofy guy that seem to translate into a big guy without a lot of grrrrr on the floor, if you know what i mean

Yeah I just don’t get this opinion. All of these streaming things added up cost way more than my cable. You can’t really put a price on live sports for me. I’ll pay whatever it is and cable remains the best option for live sports.
 
Well the year long ACCN v. Xfinity (and I'm sure others) dispute pushed folks to get some streaming services - which is why I switched. A lot of the other streaming services offer things beyond live TV, so folks would probably be shelling out for those as well.

I'm also not losing too much sleep over having to find an alternative way to watch something from Sinclair which is a super shitty company.
 
my YTTV is less than half of what DirecTV wanted to jack my rate up to, and the only thing it doesn't have that I want is Bally and as said I have that taken care of with my mom's cable login. we also watch way less cable than we used to, as most of the shows we watch are on streaming apps.

I'm still paying less for Hulu Live and all the other streaming apps than I was for Dish Network. The cost of having to "rent" 5 receivers a month plus the package was around $150 a month, plus already subscribed to Hulu, Netflix and Prime. The Hulu/Disney/ESPN bundle saves a lot. Also, at the time, lost Fox Sports South on Dish because of contract disputes. Got tired of it.

I went with fiber and YouTubeTV and cut my ridiculous Spectrum bill by over half! I've been very pleased. Turning in a bunch crappy equipment in a bag to Spectrum is somewhat cathartic!

Also, those antiquated cable Guide interfaces of over 1000 channels. Just insane. Give me YouTube TV's better organized interface all day.
 
yeah good point about all the box rentals and stuff. plus with YTTV I can actually get the full system on my phone and tablet and not limited channels like DTV had or like how Spectrum has.

Their interface is hundreds of times better and the Library feature along with 5 accounts is so easy that even my 90+ year old mother can use it!
 
But aren’t you all forgetting that you are still paying for internet? My Spectrum bill is less than $150 for both internet and cable with the sports package.
 
I mean during the summer i drop hulu live. And like most of the best shows are on one of those streaming services anyway

My bill from Spectrum was $255/mth which included 250MB broadband and about 400 channels no one in the household watched.

With Zirrus, I have 1GB up/down on fiber for $69/mth (NOT an introductory rate) and YouTube for $65/mth. I get 4 times the up/down speed, better quality for less than half of Spectrum.

Spectrum in the Triad was/is nothing short of highway robbery.
 
I cannot figure out how in the fuck I live in Seattle, WA – home of Amazon, CostCo, Microsoft, Zillow, etc. etc. etc. – and we have no competition for Comcast internet. I pay $15/mo for a T-Mobile hotspot through a non-profit for low-income folks. It kind of works most of the time. America, fuck yeah.

Well, the Triad has over 3 million people and only recently did we get legitimate competition to Spectrum in the past year. I'm speaking for Davie and Forsyth counties. Apparently, AT&T has spent millions in laying fiber throughout the area. Once you get fiber, you will NEVER go back to broadband.
