2022 WFU bowl speculation thread

So, they actually tell professors certain topics they cannot research? I'm not asking a loaded question. I'm simply shocked this is going on in 2022.
Yes. In interviews they also ask your stance on homosexuality and to describe how active you are in your church.

I'd imagine Duke to the Sun Bowl is more likely since they're 8-4 and that's an ACC direct tie in
There is a clog of ACC teams in the 7-5/8-4 range and bowls can pick a team with a worse record as long as it’s within one win. So they basically have their pick outside of FSU/UNC/Clemson.

So basically where we stand is Sun, Pinstripe, Military, Gasparilla/Birmingham as the four options for Duke, Wake, Pitt, and Cuse. No real inclination/leaning on what makes sense for the non-Pinstripe. I think Cuse or Pitt is a good fit for the Pinstripe.

The Athletic updated their bowl projections in the last hour. They now have Wake vs. Coastal in Tampa

It's "unofficial" but I'd imagine it got leaked for ticket sales purposes since the bowl game is in two weeks

That Wake vs. Coastal prediction is quite the take. Not sure anyone would show up.
Terrible timing too. Tampa is only a three hour drive but I'll already be at home up north for Christmas. A shitacular bowl game that ends at 10 pm on December 23? That's going to basically get locals and the team's families.

Yeah there is absolutely no way I could swing this game even if I wanted to.

As it currently stands the ACC looks to have zero New Years Eve or New Years Day bowls which is awful.

I’m not getting my hopes up. But after suffering through many Caldwell years, any bowl is still a big deal. Even if we have reached the point of the Participation Trophy Bowl
