We have to use domination a lot, with Deion around.
It really was a pretty decent win, Vandy isn't a bunch of scrubs and they still could be a bowl team this year. They've got UNLV Saturday and SEC games against South Carolina, Kentucky, Florida and Missouri that are all winnable I believe. The biggest disappointment from the game had to be the tendency to still be giving up big plays.Carney's fumble messed us up.
He scores and we are rolling and dominating. Instead it's just another nice win.
LY Vandy did beat Florida (home) and Kentucky on the road at the end of the year. So, they are decent under Lea.
And we almost dominated them.

Regarding Carney's fumble, I know Clawson's rule is to play the same running back for a whole possession and I also know that after the kid made the long run you'd love to see him get it in the endzone. However, you wonder if fatigue from that long run contributed at all to the fumble?
Yeah, it wasn't a small defensive line our O-line was pushing around Saturday. Sure, it wasn't Clemson or FSU, but it was P5 defensive line. I came away feeling pretty decent about our O-line, that if a team wants to play a lighter box to take away our big play potential in the passing game, we can make you pay for that with the running game. I looked up Vandy's O-line and at least on paper they were really big and for the most part the d-line held up ok. I think we may be in trouble though against teams like FSU, Notre Dame, Clemson and maybe even Pitt, as our d-line is even more undersized than it's been recently. Especially at defensive tackle. If we can get Chase Jones and Jaylen Hudson back, that should help the defense. Even getting Isiah Chaney back would give us another bigger guy to rotate on the interior defensive line.Standing on the field, one thing that immediately stood out is that Vanderbilt players were far larger than Elon. Not even close. It was a good win. Could have been much larger margin but the running game was nice to see. I really like this team for some reason.
Come on numbers. You forgot a receiver and a TE.If ODU doesn’t stack the box just run it down their throats until they do stack it. Then dominate the 1 v 1 with Banks downfield, Grimes to the sideline, and Morin across the middle. First possession get a designed rollout scramble for Griffis to really get ODU wondering what the hell they’re up against
Compared to Elon Vandy appeared to have more size/weight but Elon had decent size which they used effectively up to a point.Yeah, it wasn't a small defensive line our O-line was pushing around Saturday. The Vandy LB put his helmet right on the ball.It really was a pretty decent win, Vandy isn't a bunch of scrubs and they still could be a bowl team this year. True but it happened. The Vandy LB put his helmet right on the ball.
Ran in to Chase Jones?Loved watching Claiborne and Carney yesterday, and if Ellison is truly a better back, I look forward to us getting back to running the ball with authority all year.
I’m curious as to how Ellison got concussed in practice.
UGA wishes they could have Claiborne. But they can't Biff. But they can't.You know, we really shouldn't play Vanderbilt because it forces SEC coaches to watch our tape and recruit our players.
Wait for those "NIL" offers in January.UGA wishes they could have Claiborne. But they can't Biff. But they can't.
i do much for humanity, and give of my time and resources often. . . in ways that some on this board would not; but my comment was regarding the science behind mask/mask wearing, that has been proven to not stop the spread of an airborne virus, not even a little bit, that is all.don't be a wienie. oh no, I have to do a simple thing to help humanity. woe is me !
"some asshole like you". . . what did I do to you?!just got off a 10 day stint testing positive where I could barely get out of bed because of some asshole like you
So, no
Get fucked twice.
You selfish fuck.
eta: you, too, @19deac92 - you selfish fuck
Appreciate the heads upYou must be new around here - Strickland, Barca and many on the left won't be happy until schools are shut down (again), economy is damaged (again), and all public events are cancelled (unless the protest is for a virtuous enough cause) until their great-great grandchildren come out of the womb wearing a cloth mask
I didnt insert this into the conversation. . . I was responding to someone in this thread saying "better mask up"Take it to the Tunnels.
you and he are free to say whatever you'd like, i'm all for it. . . . just hope the same attitude is reciprocated.
