2023 Pit Fantasy Football League - THE PLAYOFFS ARE SET

Also I want y'all to know I'm still actively playing in this one even though I'm out of contention. There just were literally 0 playable quarterbacks to pick up this week.

Well, obviously....but I doubt anyone would want to do a 20-team AND another Redraft league, especially if they are in the Dynasty League or other leagues.

I, for one, only play in this league now because I had a falling out with the fellas from my previous league that I was Commissioner for [some dudes really don't appreciate the effort being commissioner takes, especially in different leagues than normal....(so I feel ya Gooner!)]

I could have guessed this answer without asking lol

But for #2, are you referring to the Dynasty League? I thought Dynasty leagues you generally keep all of your players, whereas a keeper league you can only keep one or two. I'm probably wrong though, never played in one.
 
Like I said, I figured #1 would be blasphemy....and like I said, I get it.

#3 should be a real consideration though....I think it would be a perfect update to freshen the league a little. And as most know, this league is very unforgiving.
 
Yeah, I would echo what others have previously said, pretty much the only reason I signed up for this one is the novelty of a 20 team league.

Even more so than normal fantasy football, you need to be lucky to win in a 20 team league. I think if you’re playing in this league you just gotta accept that some years the breaks just aren’t going to go your way.

And someone would need to demonstrate to me that in a 20 team league that teams picking 1-10 have outperformed the teams picking 11-20 for me to consider a 3rd round reversal. I started to look at that earlier this season, but only with 5 weeks of data.

The only difficulties I have as commissioner of this league are self-imposed or @DeacDiggler

Why would the league die on Sleeper? You think there’s a bunch of people here that would just not play if it migrated?
 
I think there would be.

ESPN is just a site most are more comfortable navigating.

I've never used Sleeper, and even though I know I could figure it out and have no problems with switching, I do think some would not wanna deal with learning something new....especially the ones who may or may not typically check out halfway through.
 
You can mitigate much of the bad luck with good decisions. I had some of the worst luck in the league losing Aaron Rodgers within minutes. But I also passed on Josh Dobbs as a backup in the last round. If I had drafted him, I wouldn’t have had to use my high waiver position on Zach Wilson just to have any QB.

I lost to Goon last week because I drafted two flex WRs with the same bye week, cut Taysom Hill instead of waiting for him to get fluky fantasy points, and picked up Quentin Johnston over Noah Brown as a late week FA.

The rest is just the usual variance in sports which is what we love/hate.
 
Is there a reason the trade between pickle & me has yet to process while the trade between pickle & ghost has processed?

Keep as 20 teams
No keepers
Keep draft the same format. if anything change how draft order is decided from year to year but I like the randomness and trying to build a team from different spots each year.

I'm not sure what happened there, I don't see anything in the transaction history for you guys that would have prevented it. If you and @OblongPickle want to put it back in, I'll auto-process it immediately.
