Procedure was a little weird... The doc and I actually spent the whole time talking about college football. He went to UGA undergrad and UNC for med school. I went to Wake undergrad and UF for grad school. No mention of the 1 second left on the clock in Wake/UNC... He did say that he was glad that Mack Brown had things seemingly moving in the right direction. Seeing as he was sewing up my nutsack at the time, I didn't really give him too difficult of a time about the loss.
Scrotum was exposed to the world for a long time... They put it through a hole in a little sheet. I watched the entire procedure, which was odd because you can't really feel anything. Almost felt like I was watching someone else. There was a doctor and two nurses in there. After prepping my balls (thanks, ladies), neither of the nurses really did anything other than watch... I think they were both new and wanted to see how it was done. I wasn't really expecting an audience, but they stayed pretty quiet.
Can't speak to pain... Yet. The shots during the procedure were a little painful, but that was quick and expected. Kind of a dull pain after the numbness went away a couple of hours later, but so far I've been fine all evening. Really not a big deal... But who knows what it'll feel like when I wake up tomorrow.
I'm not really sure... I think about a week. Same for strenuous exercise. But after that I have 5-6 weeks to get in 12-20 ejaculations before they check if I am truly sterile. I have a lot of overnight work travel next week, so I'll make sure to get started on that.
