This team is more talented than having to “sneak in” - but totally agree

We could do a lot of damage in the tourney
(NIT) if we can get a high enough seed to get a few home games.
We could do damage in the big tourney if we ever play D for 40 minutes and share the basketball at key times.
 
We should do well in the nit. Really is missed opportunities. Don’t see them letting us in unless we make noise in acct.

Players are not being held accountable in game for stupid mistakes, which leads to the same mistakes being made over and over again. He doesn’t have to go Bobby Knight on them but has does need to pull them and yell a bit. If it’s not in his personality to do so, he needs to hire an assistant who will chew their asses out.

Championship coaches demand accountability and attention to detail. He doesn’t seem to be doing either with this team.

Spot on 1000 times. mistakes over and over at key times. Players should not play through mistakes but coached on how to avoid him. was Disappointed to hear coach expressed to Efton his disappointment in him for letting team down for all his fouls or something like that after Duke game instead of apologizing to him for not coaching him and making him accountable for his running around on perimeter and other dumb plays and should yank him immediately to admonish him and tell him what he should be doing then putting Him back in after a min or two instead of watching him get 2 fouls in 2 mins in back to back games And make many other dumb fouls that should have been avoided. Same goes for boopie and cam as they regularly go through spells of forcing shots or turning it over But regularly not pulled.

Another take-away from being at that game was just how much better Cam is on defense than anyone else we have. That’s the real problem with the last play. Becuase we absolutely have to keep him on the floor, but he can’t do shit like that.

We were watching how many screens he had to get through on every play - the minute someone switched or came in for him suddenly all the screens worked. Sallis is more athletic but just doesn’t get around them laterally like Cam does. And Boopie is another (small) step down from that.

Not letting one of the best defensive teams in the conference set up at home after the free throw was 100% the right call there. Well, until we started fighting over the inbounds. It was like everything lined up perfectly to steal one and Cam just went berserker.

Well, we need to beat Pitt first and they have been better on the road than at home where we already lost to them
 
Wake should be like -5.5 against Pitt. Let's come out and take care of business from the outset

Nothing exists in a vacuum. I don’t think anyone is pissed about losing @Duke or @UVA by themselves. It’s that there was no margin for error because we lost a million other games on the road against bad teams.
