NFL Year 2021 Superbowl LVI. Rams win! Wolford gets a ring!.

All this after saying before the season that games would not be moved and you either had to field a team or forfeit.

Seattle’s season is pretty much over, but if they were in the division race they would have every right to be legit upset about moving the game because the Rams have a bunch of players in COVID protocol when Seattle only has two.

Bad play call to go for 2 with a back-up QB. Roll out cuts field in half and diminishes his accuracy. The TE running an out invites defenses who don't have to defend behind them, to break aggressively on the ball. Where's a slant or the pick play everyone runs?

When Baltimore was going for two at first and the QB walked away from under center with the HB directly behind him remind anyone of the N. Illinois game where they did the same and snapped it to the HB?

The Jake Fromm era has begun at the Meadowlands. 6 of 12 passes for 82 yards in relief of Mike Glennon.

Why is Taysom Hill at QB a thing? It’s been pretty conclusively proven he can’t play QB in the NFL, yet there he is again.

Is anyone in the NFL good this year? Bucs getting blanked.

OK, I've had just about enough regular season ball. Can the playoffs start already? League has been so boring these last few weeks.

This week still has games going into next week. You never know what might happen.

In a game where the offensive stats look pretty equal, you tell your defense we don't trust you. It would seem that Balt had enough offense to score 4 TDs in reg and could do so winning the toss or get a FG if the Packers didn't score. As you say more pressure to give your back up one play to make your season instead of taking OT.

Odd as it seems both the Chiefs and Packers got gifts to give them the top spots for the playoffs for now.

The Ringer NFL wrap up had a blurb about the Giants offering season ticket holders a free medium Pepsi for fan appreciation day lol

Bad decision and bad play call, though it turned out Hollywood was open in the back of the end zone. I was there, and everyone was complaining about the decision. The biggest issue I had with it was if you made it, then Rodgers would be going all out to get into FG range with 40 seconds and 1 TO remaining, which he would have done against our secondary. Whereas if you just kick the point after, if Rodgers has a bad play or 2, he's probably cool taking it into OT. FWIW, we were down 5 of our top 6 CBs. I saw 4 guys in the game who weren't listed in the program.

The other problem we have at the moment is Huntley is outplaying Lamar the 2nd half of the season. Even if Lamar is healthy next week, Harbaugh should say he's not healthy enough to go.

Completely agree with your logic there. Making the 2pt, Rodgers leading a FG drive, and winning in OT are around 50/50 propositions. So OT is 50/50 whereas making the 2pt and holding off Rodgers is about 25%.

Winning in OT was a way less than 50/50 proposition, and Rodgers still could have led a FG drive in the time remaining if the game were tied, there would just be less urgency to do so, which would decrease the odds but not lessen them to zero

Alex Bachman taking warmup snaps at CB for the Giants

He moved back to the active roster on Saturday. He is close to sticking with the team. He was cut, then put on IR, then injury settlement (undisclosed reason) in September. He was back on the practice squad in November and now active roster again. He has been up and down from PS the last two seasons. Hope he gets some run in the last few games and see if he can stay for next season. I rather see him get some run the last few games over JAG receivers Collin Johnson and Pharaoh Cooper and even Darius Slayton (been awful this season).
