Your personal kryptonite

In the spirit of Biff's concert post, just about anyone having a conversation during a concert while the music is playing. Kills me every time.
I left a show at a little bar venue because my friends were being that jackass.

recording video of entire songs at concerts

really any attempt to preserve your concert experience via cellphone
Yeah I don't do this either, but as long as someone isn't blocking my view directly with their cellphone at least this doesn't ruin my concert experience entirely.

Talking in some venues is a complete dealbreaker. I'm especially sensitive to this at Winston's main venue (Ramkat) because the audience sound tends to get amplified and can completely drown out the music itself almost if the music isn't particularly loud.

Lately I've been fleeing in fear from the unofficial vehicle of Charlotte, aka the ubiquitous landscape truck towing a double-axle trailer with a Bobcat on it. Rocks, clods of mud, chains, PVC pipes, spare parts, and trash all come flying off of the thing while the amigo at the wheel takes a corner too tight, sideswiping other vehicles or jumping the curb while he attempts to polish off his QT Big Q.

Somehow these things, which are absolutely everywhere, escape CDL requirements despite their combined 50-60 feet in length, full-lane width, and constant wake of destruction. Whenever I see one on the road, which happens about every 90 seconds, I move as far away as possible.

I love bananas, but bananas, with even the most minor bruise/imperfection, kill me. I want to vom at the sight and I usually have to toss the entire banana.

Interestingly enough, bees do not like the smell of bananas either. It mimics their defense pheromones which induces attacking.

Are bees attracted to color? Because one just buzzed around my daughter incessantly while we were planting the garden the other day and it was hilarious. She had an orange kid sized hoe so I thought maybe that was it, because when she dropped it it left her alone.

Generally they do not like brown or black, as that's the color of their biggest predator, bears. That's why most bee suits are white. They have an incredible sense of smell, was it possible she had eaten something sweet or sugary not long before? If so, it could have been attracted to the sweetness. Natural nectar is roughly equal weight sugar and water.

Boogers. Fucking disgusting. I think it’s because there was a kid in my neighborhood who would put them on his tongue and chase us around

Just typing that I dry heaved and my eyes watered

What is your weakness? For me, it's vomit. Give me pain, give me blood, or give me guts. I can take them all day. However, I'm a sympathy puker. Even more so when it's my kid. I crumble like a deck of cards.

Right!? If you want to have a conversation with music in the background, just go to a bar with a jukebox.
I also HATE this at baseball games. Trying to take in a game and the row behind you Is jabbering about bullshit.

is this different from pet peeves thread?
