Prime Time and the Colorado Football Experiment

Prime culture includes rushing the field at midnight after beating a 24-point underdog with happens to be their biggest rival in a comeback 2OT win to start 3-0 for the first time ever after being up since before sunrise for College Gameday.

More additions.

There's certainly a world where CSU wins the game the other night by 20 without stupid penalties, a pick 6 (though they were the beneficiaries of a scoop and score), and bad coaching. Until they stupidly went into prevent defense, they looked like by far the better team, and they got absolutely smoked vs. WSU in week 1.

Love the Prime show, but Colorado is likely in for a rude awakening soon, and probably this week. Lanning is a pretty darn good defensive coach, and Oregon will certainly put up points.

Say what you wish about Prime but his presser today was class. Apparently, the kid from CSU has received death threats for the late hit against Hunter. Pathetically sad. It was an emotional game. It happens.

Deion addressed it well several times in his presser. This kind of horseshit needs to stop and I'm very happy he addressed it and totally supported the kid. Good on him.

It is absolutely bizarre that a Wake Forest message board has a 10 page thread on Colorado football. Y’all need to pay more attention to WF. Jeez.
Wake fans empathize with Colorado and their 1-11 record a year ago because some of us have lived through that at Wake. Wake's last two coaches have gotten Wake out of that scenario by emphasizing player development and retention.

Colorado went with a very different model. Hence the word "experiment" in the thread title. Colorado hired a coach who massively turned over the roster and brought in players from other schools. Most of the attraction is the charismatic personality and reputation of the head coach. We will see which model is sustainable.
