Not sure your point, only three MLS stadiums are above 22k (and most settle around 15-20k just like arenas). Sure, Seattle tips the scale a bit by consistently being at 40k+ but it's still impressive to be over 1k above NBA/NHL even with that.

MLS has higher average attendance than both the NBA and the NHL. Sure, TV is where the money is, but that fact is still somewhat surprising.
