What was brutal was the plugged lie in the bunker on 18. It was a tough day, and he played well except those 2 doubles. He's got a chance, but Scottie has got to be the favorite given that he's actually putting fairly well.
 
Really wanted to see Will and Scottie paired for the final round since they know each other so well and play a lot of golf together in Dallas.
 
Anthony Kim dropped a 65 today. Course isn't very tough, but putting up 7 birdies in a tournament round is pretty good and should up his confidence level.

Will acquitted himself well today. He had some distance control issues on the back but got up and down quite well. But few are gonna beat Scottie when he's rolling it well, especially on a tough layout.
 
Once again the alternate event to the PGA headliner, in this case the Puerto Rico Open opposite Arnold's tournament, provided some compelling drama. A 36 y/o PGA tour rookie named Erik Barnes who has banged around Korn Ferry and other lesser formats lost a 4-hole playoff and what would have been a life-changing 2-year exemption; was really pulling for the guy.
But for anybody who did watch it, how about the scene where Barnes and a few other players were in the clubhouse watching the finishing groups to see if there would be a playoff? The t.v. looked to be about 18" and was propped up on a desk, and the room in general looked like what you would find at a muni in a Texas panhandle goat track. But that kinda added to the charm as well..
 
Gosh Live from Sawgrass on GC got me pumped for 5th major and all the majors. Love that Live from sound!!!

 
Great week to find a $20 bill in a jacket pocket you forgot about and then bet it on Will...
 
Yeh I put $100 on him this week after losing $40 on him last week. He's close though. This is a course you don't necessarily have to putt great on.
