the twitter thing has absolutely nothing to do with free speech. he can start his own website and say all the stupid hateful shit he wants. private companies don't have any obligation to put up with your shit.

He's not responsible for what other people said to her. He didn't direct his followers to go after her- something that she repeatedly did to others. He wrote a bad review of her movie, she got pissed, he responded, and things escalated. There was awful racist stuff said to her, no doubt, but not from him.

Just because twitter has shown it's not interested in free speech, doesn't mean this is not a free speech issue. No one has argued twitter doesn't have the right to do what they did. Doesn't mean what they did shouldn't be criticized.
 
don't think the final night will beat either of obama's final nights, but monday with bernie, tuesday with bill, and wednesday with obama will all do very well i imagine.

people get banned from websites all the time. it's not a big deal that a self described biggest troll on the internet got banned, especially when that was his goal. insulting to even invoke free speech with this.

Yeah, their lineup does seem more legit. Interested to see how well they do. If it's close to '12 that might be a bad sign for Trump.

Even if this were free speech if you incite imminent unlawful action, your speech may not be protected.

It's not a free speech issue though.
