Interesting. Meaning we would take the commitment of someone else and boot Wilkins? I thought Wilkins was a really solid get and would prefer hanging onto him.

I wouldn't consider myself a "Wake guy" anymore if I transferred, got my degree somewhere else, and the faculty at my new school were the ones who got me a job, were the people in my network, etc. I don't care if he decides to transfer, but it's just a rather stupid hedge to say "forever a Deacon"

I don't really understand the "I will always be a Deac and hope the fans see me that way as well" stuff these kids always say when they transfer. You can't always be a Deac if you decide to transfer. No problem with his move (if he actually ends up getting a waiver) but he's most definitely not...

If Chill is a lower level assistant that recruits a lot, I'm fine with it. There was a weird rumor/scoop started by the Rivals guy maybe a year(?) ago that Chill was undermining Manning with recruits and telling them that Manning was done and Chill would be the next HC. Seems really out there...

Haven't followed the board in a few hours. What are the updates on assistants? Bringing his entire staff with him?

Very, very happy with Forbes. Dude just wins basketball games. Got a solid test for himself as soon as he gets here to try to recruit Sarr/Neath back and fill those four scholarships!
