WFU Hoops: '24-'25 Roster Construction Thread: (-) Carr, Monsanto, Ituka, Clark, Miller, Marsh, Keller, Canka / (+) Spillers, Biliew, Cosby

So suggesting there should be a plan in place is a straw man argument. Great take.

    1. No. 2. Yes, I do believe this. He's come close enough, enough times, that it's reasonable to expect a breakthrough soon. 3. Right now, yes. Considering the depths the program came from, making a change now will make it harder to get a quality candidate. In another year or two if we continue...

Who should start at Quarterback against Virginia Tech?

Benching Griffis (or anybody else) after 3 bad games to start his career as a starter for a guy who's never started a game in his college career - against Clemson, no less - is objectively fucking stupid.

    Sam Hartman

No one is begrudging him anything. People seem to be conflating holding a grudge with just not rooting for him while he's at ND.

    Sam Hartman

Who's mad at him? People are just saying - rightly so - that we shouldn't feel an obligation to root for him if he's transferring to a school that we compete against.

2022 Atlanta Braves Season Thread: off season decisions loom

Huh? The Phillies beat the Cards with a 1-2 punch of Wheeler and Nola. Nola dominated the Braves and the Wheeler-Wright matchup was excellent. The Phillies have allowed 16 runs in 6 playoff games so far. If you don't think pitching has played a major role you haven't been paying attention.
