Wake's Defense must step up. After watching them dominate Florida State, it has been disappointing to watch their regression. If the Defense steps up and plays like they can, I like our chances.

That game was the best Defensive Line play I have ever seen from Wake-- every one of our D-linemen played well. If their back broke through the D-line, they often got big yards, but this did not happen often. I thought Wendell Dunn's play was fantastic.

Sat beside Carney's mom yesterday and she said her son should not have played last game at all, and would not play yesterday unless circumstances were extreme. We could have used him, but healing from the injury is key.

I have no inside knowledge, but if I was a top notch recruit with several schools after me, I would probably wait to see the fall out from the current scandal before making a decision. Ayo could be watching and enjoying his visits, and has not fully decided yet....

The quote above is in reference to Ayo missing the beaches in Chicago... I have been to the beaches in Chicago, and I live fairly near th beaches in Wilmington-- no comparison. Wrightsville Beach is way, way nicer in every category!!

If you look up cheating in the dictionary, it has Bobby Petrino's name. Why would Jackson accuse Clawson when he does not know? He sounds like he is paranoid or something. I have no respect for Louisville, primarily because of Petrino, but this sure does not help!

I watched Gordon's highlight film and was very impressed-- he pancaked most guys. I know the talent was inferior, but he stayed with blocks a long time an seems to have his head on straight! Cannot wait to see him open holes for our RBs!

Interesting series where the home team blows out the opposing team each game-- hard to figure why there is such a difference between the play of teams every other night. I get that the home crowd can juice players, but wow, the discrepancy is incredible.

As stated above, the refs wanted to be the center of attention apparently, because they took the game away from the players with so many whistles. Zags were shooting double bonus with over 10 minutes left in the 2nd half- not sure I have ever seen that. Calls were missed both ways for sure...
