I’d go Spring House of Fratellis. Fratellis has done a great job taking care of their private dining room area the couple of times I’ve been in a group that size.

You can sail from Lake Huron, through the Straits of Mackinac and into Lake Michigan without encountering INS. There is an INS station on Mackinac Island but I don't know how they would prevent a boat from coming from Canada without stopping.

Great advice. Used to fly from Louisville to CLT very frequently (20/yr). SDF is pretty small, and for my uses, very well arranged. You can see from the bar to the gate where the evening CLT flights depart. You can literally ask for the check as they board zone 4 and make the flight.
