Can't forget DeNiro staring down his girlfriend and walking out on her without saying a goddamn word. Just like he told Val.

The transition from Cauldron to Grass is sublime. Definitely a mainstay in the album rotation from May to August-ish.

Pretty spectacular live music duo for me after seeing Rush on Thursday and Tallest Man on Earth last night at the DPAC. Just made a few purchases at Underdog records in Winston and planning to crack open a few beers and jam out.

This will be my third time seeing Rush, and the first time with a friend. You can swing Rush shows solo quite easily. Both previous shows I've made conversation with those around me. Cult bands have that effect.

Jealous. I'm really trying to hear that Giant Peach outtro riff live. I first saw them on KEXP last week and I've been hooked on the few tracks on Spotify so far.

Cutting the Cord (Ditching TV, not having a baby)

Sling TV doesn't give you access to any local channels, unfortunately, and I'm not aware of any streaming service that would. An outdoor antenna may be your best bet if you're staying away from cable/satellite. I sampled Sling for 7 days, but didn't renew the subscription. I just didn't use it...

The new Will Butler solo is on Spotify now. Pitchfork gave it a middle of the road review, but I'm enjoying it so far.
